Freshers' Fortnight 2010

 Client: Solent Students' Union

 Brief: To promote the various events, activities and information available to new and returning students during Freshers' Fortnight 2010

 Results: Freshers' Fortnight is one of the most important times during a students' academic calendar; a chance to get used to University life and experience all that there is to offer. As part of the Freshers' Fortnight campaign during 2010, a number of different marketing materials were produced to advertise the Students' Union and it's activities. These included posters, flyers, a 40 page booklet, eNewsletters, pull-up banners, wallplanners, tickets, wristbands, digital adverts and more. The magazine was designed to imitate the garish style of "Pick Me Up", a magazine that many students indulge in! Events that were part of the Freshers' Fortnight programme were designed to follow a consistent style to establish a common theme. Freshers' Fortnight 2010 was a commercial success, increasing events intake by 60% from 2009.
